Synopsis: There's a homeless girl in New York City that few can see. She's there, listening to the same violins you are, appreciating the same painting you're admiring as if she could hear the artist's voice within her. Being invisible to the city, she keeps to her private world where art is her strong undercurrent.
One night, she was not so invisible when a ruthless mogul by day, heartless crime boss at night, took matters into his own hands as he had done so many times before...and Lauren witnessed it. And now the hunt explodes where Arthur Topeddo, a master strategist, wields a wealth of resources sparing no expense to keep Lauren on the run long enough to run right into his unforgiving net.
Relentlessly chased by Torpeddo's army of hired help, evading crooked cops, and outrunning the random thug on the street allows her very little time for rest. And worst of all, Torpeddo's son is forced to come up the ranks and races feverishly at her heels with an eventual gain. And once she's caught, Torpeddo can finally be satisfied when he takes care of this witness his way.
With her invisibility being tested, pushed beyond limits, and subjected to excruciating elements, the final layer of her soul gets ripped from her consciousness. Now she finds herself in a place without fear, free to see inside herself and hear the summons in her heart. She comes to terms with what she must do, and that is to right all of Torpeddo's wrongs.
And now her tempest will begin.
